IT lesson 3 notes

In our third lesson, we began on our moodboards. Using Photoshop, we set up the size of our page, and had the option of creating guidelines to place our images in, or just working freely. I chose this option as I want my moodboard to look less like a regimented grid, and my images to be different shapes and sizes. I used Google images to search specifically for large images, and searched for various pictures I liked with a burgundy colour scheme. I chose images that showed poses I liked, hair and clothes I liked, relevant make-up products, or pictures of objects that I felt had the same tones and theme as my project. Once saved, I dragged them onto the Photoshop document, and began resizing them, placing them where I wanted them, and editing the colours they if didn't quite suit the burgundy theme. I did the by dragging them to a new Photoshop canvas, and then selecting Edit, and changing the hue/saturation, contrast, vibrance, and so on.
