IT lesson 2 notes
Our second lesson introduced us to the program InDesign. We learnt how to add our own images to a template of a hand-in document, linking them to Bridge so that when the photos (.tif files) were edited, the images in InDesign would update too. I also took this lesson time to edit my photos, making three of them black and white by converting them to grayscale when opened in 'Camera Raw', adjusting colours and exposure, and also touching up any blemishes or under-eye circles in Photoshop. Finally, we learnt how to save the InDesign file as a package, meaning all the important parts could still be accessed after saving. I found this lesson useful and feel more confident about my Digital Image Production hand-in now. I look forward to starting creating my moodboard.
